Peer Review Policy
The Journal of Accounting Studies applies a rigorous, structured, and transparent peer-review process to ensure the scientific quality, validity, and originality of all published research. Peer review is the cornerstone of academic publishing and serves as a quality-control mechanism that evaluates manuscripts before they are accepted for publication. The journal adopts a blind review system involving three reviewers, which keeps the identities of both authors and reviewers confidential throughout the evaluation process. This model is designed to eliminate bias, promote fairness, and ensure that decisions are made solely on the basis of scientific merit. The peer-review process of the Journal of Accounting Studies complies with internationally recognized standards, including the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring ethical integrity and academic rigor at every stage.
