Publication violation

Violation of the ethics of scholarly research (academic integrity)

If researchers do not adhere to research ethics, the following actions are taken against them:

Replacing a copy of a scientific research

The editorial board may agree to replace a copy of a any research after it has been accepted for publication. Upon the researchers’ request, the research article might be replaced in some cases where researchers discover that it constitutes harm. Accordingly, the defective original is replaced with a corrected copy and a link to the republished research is published with a summary of the modifications made to the file the original.

Publication withdrawal (removing the research published in the issues of the journal)

The editorial board may take a decision to remove the publication of any research article published on the journal’s website by placing a red watermark on each page of the research indicating that it is (WITHDRAWN). The research article remains published on the journal’s website with a note about that in the first following issue, provided that the search page on the journal’s website is preceded by a screen containing the decision to withdrawal and with a link through which to go to the research itself. The previous procedure is done in the following cases:

1-    If it is proven that the researcher’s mistake was not intentional, which means errors in data collection or classification, errors in statistical analysis, or errors due to a defect in the used software or hardware.

2-    In the event of a conflict of interest between the authors or institutions related to the research, or the objection of any member of the research team to any issue related to the research team itself, such as writing the names of authors who did not participate in the research or not writing the names of all authors who participated in the research.

3-    The researcher asked the journal to withdraw his research as a result of his discovery that there was an error in his research or the existence of a scientific error in another research that he relied on in preparing his research.

4-    Publishing the same research in more than one volume or issue due to an unintended error from the journal administration, in which case the journal removes the last published research and writes on it a (DUPLICATE).

Withdrawal of a published research article in case of research ethics violation

In the event that any errors or any violation of the ethics of scientific research or any violation in the research published in the issues of the journal via the website are discovered, the editorial board must take some quick actions by withdrawing the publication of the research article. This is by placing a red watermark on each page of the research which indicates that it is (WITHDRAWN) and the research remains published on the journal’s website with a note about that in the first following issue, provided that the search page on the journal’s website is preceded by a screen containing the decision to withdraw and with a link through which to go to the research itself. The name of the researcher is placed in the (Blacklist) in the following cases:

1- Submitting the same research to multiple journals.

2- Data falsification or manipulation.

3- Stealing the effort of others, whether it is from published research, a dissertation or a thesis approved by another institution, or by reusing published data without indicating its source.

4- Submitting a research paper that has been previously published in another language.

5- Republishing a research paper or part of it that is previously published by the researcher.

6- Using graphics and images without indicating their source or without prior permission from the publisher, even if the image was published in a previous research by the same researcher.

Only the title and names of researchers are kept in the journal’s archive, and the text is replaced with a screen indicating that the research has been removed for legal reasons. The editorial board does this procedure in one of the following cases:
